Abstract

This paper presents a detailed implementation study of AlumniConnect, a comprehensive web-based platform designed to revolutionize alumni management and engagement in educational institutions. The system addresses critical challenges in maintaining long-term relationships with graduates through the deployment of modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5, JavaScript, and MySQL database management. The implementation integrates multiple advanced features including real-time LinkedIn data synchronization via RapidAPI, automated email notifications using SMTP protocol, startup portfolio management, higher education tracking, and QR code-based student registration. The platform employs a responsive design architecture ensuring seamless accessibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Performance testing demonstrates significant improvements in alumni engagement metrics, with 94% user satisfaction rate and sub-2-second page load times. The modular architecture supports horizontal scaling and future integration of AI-powered features.
