**Abstract – Fabrication of Air Cooler**

This project focuses on the design and fabrication of a cost-effective and energy-efficient air cooler intended for domestic and small-scale applications. The air cooler operates on the principle of evaporative cooling, where hot air is drawn through water-saturated cooling pads, resulting in a reduction in air temperature through the evaporation of water.

The fabrication process involves the selection of suitable materials such as a lightweight outer casing, a water reservoir, a pump for water circulation, cooling pads, and an electric fan or blower to ensure proper airflow. The system is designed to maximize cooling efficiency while minimizing power consumption and maintenance requirements.

Special attention is given to optimizing airflow, water distribution, and pad material to achieve effective cooling performance in hot and dry climatic conditions. The fabricated air cooler provides an eco-friendly alternative to conventional air conditioning systems by consuming less electricity and avoiding the use of harmful refrigerants.

The project demonstrates practical skills in mechanical design, assembly, and testing, and highlights the importance of sustainable cooling solutions in modern engineering.
