The policies implemented by successive governments reflect India’s attempts to balance economic growth, social justice, and federal harmony. This paper explores the relationship between political dynamics and policy formulation in India, highlighting how ideology, leadership, and public institutions shape governance. It also examines the role of political parties, bureaucracy, and civil society in influencing policy outcomes.
